Marshall L. Horton, Esq. has been practicing law in the Lowcountry since 2006. During this time, Marshall has had the privilege of representing hundreds of individuals and businesses in our area. Since founding the firm that would become Horton & Associates, LLC in 2008, he has devoted his professional life to serving the Lowcountry community as a trial lawyer. He started his legal career as judicial clerk for the Honorable Paul M. Burch of the 4th Circuit of South Carolina.

Mr. Horton handles litigation matters primarily in the areas of personal injury, family law, business disputes, and DUI defense. An experienced trial attorney, Marshall is no stranger to our local courtroomsand has argued hundreds of cases in court. In addition to his private practice, he has been active in the local legal community, having served as the Vice President of the Hilton Head Bar Association and a Municipal Court Judge for the Town of Bluffton for almost a decade.

With this extensive experience, Marshall understands that legal problems are highly stressful and fully appreciates the strain that a lawsuit puts on an individual. He works tirelessly to win cases for his client and makes great efforts to make himself available for his clients as much as possible.

Marshall earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and a B.A. in History from The Citadel. He lives in Bluffton with his wife and three young daughters.
